When the current naturally passes through zero, the residual ions, electrons and metal vapors can be compounded or gathered on the contact surface and the shielding cover within a microsecond, and the dielectric insulation strength of the arc extinguishing chamber break will be quickly restored, so that the arc is extinguished, achieving the purpose of breaking.
